For Macintosh, WordSpring 3.0 requires a Macintosh with OS X 10.6 and forward.

For Windows, WorkSpring 3.0 requires Windows 8 and forward. It also runs on Windows 7, but an unresolved problem occurs in printing word pronunciations. Some of the special pronunciation marks are rendered incorrectly.

If you have an older Macintosh with a Power PC processor or are running an older version of Windows, you can use WordSpring 2.5, although it lacks some of the capabilites of WordSpring 3.0.
